    Hi, my name is Antonia and I was born and raised in Fort-de-France, Martinique, a French island in the Caribbean. I started to practice yoga when I was 5. I discovered Kundalini Yoga in 2006 which brought balance to my body, mind and soul. Through the regular practice of exercises (kriyas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and sacred sounds (mantras), I increased my life force (prana) and embarked on an exciting new journey of self-discovery.     My name is Jessica, I am a Kwakwaka'wakw, a member of the 'Namgis First Nation.     Hi, my name is Natalie (she/her). My yoga journey began in the early 2000’s with an on-site yoga class offered by my employer.     Hi, my name is Tierra, I aspire to leave my students inspired and feeling powerful on their mats and within themselves! I’ve been teaching yoga since 2017.     Hi, my name is Zainib Abdullah, MSW RSW RYT, and i’m a co-founder, yoga instructor and psychotherapist at WellNest Psychotherapy Services. As a guest and student in the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, I completed my 300-hr teacher training from Yoga Therapy Toronto in the lineage of Classical Yoga. My trauma informed & anti-colonial approach aims to honour the fullness of Yoga practice through restorative, as well as conscious, therapeutic yoga posture practices/flows.

    My name is Zelena van der Leeden, I became a Hatha Yoga teacher in April 2020. I obtained my RYT 200 at Yoga & Tea Studio in Carp, ON. I can teach in English and Spanish and I am originally from Venezuela. I moved to Canada in 2006 to do a Master's degree in Communication Ottawa has been my home ever since.

    Yoga has been life changing for me, so I decided to become a teacher to help others heal as I did. In January 2020 I launched a small social enterprise to empower seniors through cultural and wellness workshops. I also have experience working/volunteering with immigrants and people with intellectual disabilities.

    My name is Joss Frank. I am a Black, Indigenous, and German woman from Alberta. I’m a bit of a nomad and currently living in Thailand. I am a trauma-informed Yoga Teacher specializing in womb yoga, yoga nidra, and yoga therapy. I’m in my final year of studies with AJNA Yoga to receive my 800 HR Yoga Therapist certification.

    My approach to teaching yoga is trauma-informed, anti-racist/oppressive, and anti-patriarchal. I host a free Nidra class for BIWOC every Mon eve online on the YYOGA platform. My sacred offering is WILD WOMB which provides women (including non-binary, trans, and anyone who identifies with feminine expression) with: 1:1 Private Wellness Sessions & The 10-Week Online Journey to Reclaim Your Power.
