Research & Education:

  • Conduct secondary research

  • Create informative/educational infographic materials

  • Develop and direct given research assignments

  • Conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to WoCRW needs

Co-ordinator for the Outdoor Project

  • The co-ordinator is responsible for developing, planning and executing a variety of outdoor events. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspect of the event including identifying an activity, location, brands to work with or organization to collaborate with. With the help of other volunteers from WoCRW the lead co-ordinator will be responsible for managing all logistics on-site.

  • Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop/come up with an outdoor event activities (i.e., hiking, fishing, climbing, skiing etc..)

  • Reach out to BIPOC organization to collaborate with

  • Develop event description/details and send it to Biatris/Editor for review before finalizing it.

  • Contact brands to sponsor the event

  • Depending on the activity type the volunteer may facilitate or ask an expert to facilitate the activity.
